Terms of Service

By using Reapption ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Reapption is a platform for sending videos and capturing genuine first-time reactions. The Service includes the Reapption mobile application and website at reapption.net.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Reapption.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the videos and reactions you create. By uploading content to Reapption, you grant us a license to store, process, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service (including video conversion, thumbnail generation, and CDN delivery).

You are responsible for the content you upload. You must not upload content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Depicts, promotes, or facilitates child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form — see our Child Safety Standards
• Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Contains malware or other harmful code

4. Public Videos

Videos marked as "public" are visible to all users and visitors on the public feed. Anyone can view and react to public videos. You can change your videos to private at any time.

5. Reactions

When you react to someone's video, the reaction is sent to the video's creator. Anonymous reactions (without an account) are also permitted. By reacting, you consent to the video creator viewing your reaction.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or any fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, bans, or security measures
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service
• Impersonate other users or entities
• Use the Service to distribute malware or engage in any illegal activity

7. Sponsored Content

The Service may include sponsored banners and cards from third parties, clearly labelled "Sponsored". We don't endorse these sponsors and we're not responsible for the products, services, or content available on external sites you reach by tapping a sponsored item.

We do not share your account information with sponsors. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected when you interact with sponsored content.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time via the app or at reapption.net/delete-account.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for content uploaded by users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reapption shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
